“40 Years in the Making” is a mini-documentary that tells the remarkable story behind The Burial of Natty Bumppo, an ambitious hand-drawn animated film created by Fred Burns. Starting in 1980, Fred embarked on this intricate and labor-intensive project, dedicating decades to its creation. This documentary was a deeply inspiring project for me because it showed that ideas never die and art lives on.
